The Other Silly Two

I finished these other two mid-week. It's a big change of pace not designing robots. It's equally enjoyable though.

Smoking theme? Ha ha not intentionally though. I find smoking stylish, and that's how its usually portrayed. It's never portrayed as healthy or anything, but the genre being represented, this aristocratic gentleman's club, makes total sense with it and it's really comical seeing animals having to do human things.

The point of the work is supposed to jar the viewer.

I worked on the deer first and it turned out really great and it was fun drawing the horns and having hte smoke entangled.

Then, working on the monkey, It was kind of weird having such an expression on the face and not having some sense of reason as to what he's looking at. I experimented with many alternatives, from a flask, to a jack daniels bottle but the pipe-smoking was the best bet, and the smoke entrancing him.
